I posted one comment and of course, received several answers from our friends of the left.
The Left and the new majority-to-be disturbs me to no end.
They are only tolerant to their sick concept of morality. They are Hypocrites.
Little do they realize, they have sealed their own eternal reward by the words they utter in condemnation of others whom they have no understanding.

I refuse to read the garbage these haters are spewing out about Senator Helms. I don’t hae to read what they have said. I know now what kinds of things they would say - they have said much of it before.
Their desire for Senator Helms children and grandchildren to die from AIDS is just one of the many vile comments directed towards this great man down through the years.
Senator Helms pointed out that the amount of government dollars being spent on AIDS research compared with the amount of government $ being spent on, for instance, cancer whose impact on the numbers of citizens was far greater than that of AIDS = made no sense! He was one of the very few in a position of leadership who correctly identified the fact that AIDS was overwhelmingly a disease related directly to homosexual behavior, in that over 70% of those with AIDS in this country were homosexual men.
This FACT has not changed, yet when it is brought up to the ‘young’ skulls of mush I know, they just cannot believe it to be true!
Why?
No current American leader has the courage to stand up and say so.

The Helms-hating leftists will be ultimately burning eternally in Hell, while they gaze across the divide and witness the object of their scorn, Jesse Helms, in the Presence of the Lord, eternally joyful.
Maybe Jesse will give them a smile and wave.

I know Senator Helms forgave those who hated him. I pray his beloved family can do the same..by the grace of God..because these putrid streams of hate are no doubt going to get to their eyes and ears at this time of their mourning.....
May Senator Helms’ wife Dot and his children and grandchildren and all who knew and loved him both locally and the world over find comfort and peace and joy in knowing that their husband, father, grandfather, friend was revered, honored, cherished, respected, and thanked by THOUSANDS for his humble, honorable, and effective service to this state, to our nation, to the people of NC whom he loved so dearly.
Even the ones who today spew hatred his way.
Jesse Helms is with his beloved Lord Jesus...and his family and our state, nation and world have been greatly blessed by this man’s life lived as a servant to his God and to our great nation.
