Nope, but:
Cincinnati police and U.S. Secret Service agents escorted Russell from the building. Neither he nor the man who grabbed him, who declined to give his name, was arrested.
Perhaps we should call the Cincy police and report the crime?

It must have to do with the Heckler that was booted out of a Kerry speech yesterday or the day before.

Hey, Kerry promised a more "sensitive" war.
Not a more sensitive campaign.
Some politician was bound to go for the (former) Representative Patsty
("DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM" when not given premiums airline seats) Schroeder (D, Colorado)...
who was so taken with former President Bill Clinton's "sensitive"
cruise-missle strike on Baghdad that just killed a few janitors.

Yep sleeper hold...however this can also be used with left hand being a fulcrum and the victims head twisted with the other hand on the back of the head...
It can do serious damage to neck vertebrae...if applied 'carelessly'

I believe this is known in legal circles as "assault and battery", a felony. When RAT union goons do it to Republicans, however, it is ignored.

I don't know. Nothing was broken, just a bad sprain. If a case was there I would have thought the ambulance chasers would have been beating my door down. That has not happened. The trial attorney crowd in Cincy saw the incident as most of them were in attendance, including the master of disaster Stan Chesley.

Welcome to Free Republic!!! Hope you took a shower when you got home last night.

Well fantastic! If you're for real I think that's great. Congratulations to you for going after Kerry and for joining FR. I said it earlier today - you're now among the best people in the world, and your presence will just make us better.

I showered, deloused and fumigated myself. I had to stand among these dim witted Kerry supporters for 2 hours waiting to get in. Geesh! They all have the Michael Moore mentality. I'm a Teamster rank and file member. I think I was the only labor rank and file guy there. Needless to say I'm now persona non grata among the Teamster leadership, but feel a majority of teamsters will bring the vote home to W.

Outnumbered 350 to 1 with numerous secret service attitude adjusters about. I only wanted to put the question "how many villages did you burn Sen. Kerry" in play. I did not want to become a martyr

To: Sir Gawain
"so are you going to file charges or not"
The Cincinnati Police officer who wrote up the incident told me that I would contacted by CPD within a few days to see if I wanted to file assault charges. I'm still waiting and will decide once the specifics are explained to me. As far as my personal concerns, I've invested 17 years with the Teamsters and work in a closed shop in a non right to work state. I've already nearly sawed this limb I'm sitting on off.
To: Tail Gunner John
Well Jow, the guy
is a trial sheister, right?
Got to be thankful though, seeing how there were probably a pack of union thugs close by & all around.
You need to ask Don Adams & his sister about the Liberal-Socialist's goon squads & what they're capable of doing.
They'd tell you a thing or two about that subject, alright.
The worst thing about the Adams' situation was the "Big Goon" was actually caught on tape, red-handed, giving his flunky-goons the signal to beat him.
I mean to hell with a "smoking gun," they had VIDEO footage of the assualt!
But did that matter to the DA for The City of Brotherly Love, one Lynn Abrams?
Nope, not a bit.
"But why not!?" one might ask.
Because Lynn's a Liberal-Socialist 'Rat, that's why.
She -- IMO -- committed more than one act of "Obstruction of Justice" in her break-neck effort to protect her union *pals*.
Dangerous going to a 'Rat rally, my friend.
...real dangerous.

The current Hamilton County (Cincy) prosecutor is a hard as nails, have no fear Republican. Unfortunately, the other "hard as nails" aspect of his personality has caused him to crash and burn over the past 10 days. He had been "Clintonizing" with a junior staff member in his office for two years. Two weeks ago she became disgruntled and filed a multi million dollar sexual harassment suit against him and the county. Hard to say what he'd do as he is now a lame duck that both Dems and Republicans are trying to force out.

Sometimes it seems our side can't do anything right.
The guy's brains were behind his zipper, eh?
"Two weeks ago she became disgruntled and filed a multi million dollar sexual harassment suit against him and the county."
But, of course.
That'll happen when "she" realizes "he" is not going to leave his wife for her & as such has only been using her as a harlot.
In fact, it'll happen every time.
"Hard to say what he'd do as he is now a lame duck that both Dems and Republicans are trying to force out."
Well because he's a Repub we know what he's going to do, whatever that might be: the wrong thing.
But I'll tell you what *I* would do in his shoes.
I'd take a page right outa the ol' 'Rat playbook as written by the Big Bug -- Clintigula Lanny, James & Co -- themselves.
I'd take your case, & I'd run with it until they screamed "STOP!"
Because that's what would effectively divert *everyone's* attention from *my* pecadillos, wouldn't it? :o)
This guy doesn't sound sharp enough to pull that though.
So?
...unfortunately you might be SOL.

Mike Allen, the prosecutor is sharp. He recently stepped down as SE Ohio Bush/Cheney chairman (replaced by Anthony Munoz). He stands for reelection (unopposed) this year. Both Dem and Republican candidates are scrambling for write in status. As to my status. I'm not SOL as I accomplished what I had I wanted to. Due to the violence, I got 50% of the face time on local T.V. that Kerry did. Nearly all the regional papers and radio, both talk and news, covered the atrocity quotes of Kerry. All in all I know Kerry was not happy and it cost him votes in Ohio.

By coincidence Dick Cheney came to town the following day for a town hall type forum.
The news cycle from Wednesday was Kerry, one question, Kerry supporter tearing my head off.
Thursday, Cheney taking all questions, being Dick Cheney.
A contrast in campaign style.
It has been a pleasure and thanks for the concern.
