It troubles me there is so much of this stuff. Years ago I was working in court during a nationwide federal sting operation (Operation Looking Glass) and saw many many child pornography collectors being prosecuted. And that was just before one judge in one viscinage of one district. My guess is abuse of children is a rampant, under the radar disease.

Its a crime, a horrible one, not a disease. If it was a 'disease' the lawyers would be getting them off for 'treatment'.

pedophilia is a perversion in which children are the preferred sexual objects. Pedophiles using child porn to achieve gratification ARE participating adults.

What one deals with here (from the posted information) is a collector of child pornography. If there is more to it (as it may be), such information has not been made available. The thing is before the courts, and let them sort it out. That's what they are paid to do, after all.

Thought you might be interested in knowing about David Race Bannon, who was a "cleaner" for Interpol's "Archangel" sub-directorate. In an article about Bannon in Kungfu Magazine it stated "His job was to hunt down and assassinate those who kidnapped, trafficked and exploited children for use in the global sex trade." Today Bannon is retired, living in this country and helping in every way possible to save sexually exploited children. Nonetheless his days as an assassin have taken a toll on him.

Indeed. There are consumers, those prosecuting them and those doing forensic research in the field. Nobody else normally expresses any interest.
