All GOP: Get Out There and Vote - EARLY If You Can! I Did!
My email I sent out around 9 a.m. this morning:
--------------------
Howdy, Ya'll !!
I have NOW done my Civic Duty and have cast MY vote!
After I pushed that ONE button, all I saw was a SEA of R's!! Straight Ticket Republican !!
No dang Democrap got my vote, and likewise for the LIBERALtarians. Straight GOP for me!
Take THAT, Carole Keeton-Strayhorn-Rylander (or whatever name you're using this week!). Take THAT Chris Bell and Kinky Weed Friedman! And all you other clowns, too! FIVE people running for Governor? Sheesh! Rick Perry will be our next Governor still and again!
Take THAT all you other Democrap dog-catchers out there!
I was the FIRST one in my polling location to vote on this FIRST day of early voting, too! I walked into the building and as I got to the door where we vote I looked at my watch and it was TWO minutes before 8 a.m. I was TWO minutes early. They told me I was two minutes early and so said "Good! I'll be the first one to vote!" with a big smile on my face. They agreed, I certainly WOULD be first.
It didn't take ME long to push the button on the electronic machine either. All I had to do was keep hitting the "Next" button (and seeing ALL THOSE R's on every page as I went too!) until I got to the "Review" page. Still ALL R's !! "Looks good to me!" I said as I hit the bright red "Vote" button that was lit up like a Christmas tree. RED! I like that! A sea of RED for all those R's!! Perfect! hahahahahaaaaa!
The last thing I saw on the machine was something to the effect of "Your vote has been cast", and then "Thank you for voting". So I turned to one of the election officials and asked him "Now if I get nailed by a Mack Truck when I pull outta here, does that make me an official DEAD VOTER???" and I laughed. He laughed too and said that it surely does mean that! hahahahaaaa! Gotta love my local election officials having a great sense of humor like that.
Anyway, I noticed the clock in my car said 8:06 when I got behind the wheel and started my car. Just six minutes from the time they took my voter registration card, logged me in, signed their paper, etc., etc., etc., voted, left and got in my car. SIX minutes to vote! I love it!
Anyway, I am SOOOooo happy that I have voted for the RIGHT side and TURNED AWAY all those sorry losers yet again! :^D
Ricardo in Texas (the BEST darned state in the whole darned country!) :^D
PS: Please make sure that ALL your Conservative friends get out there and vote. Go vote - early if you can! - and TAKE A FEW CONSERVATIVE VOTING FRIENDS with you! Don't let those smart-alecky pollsters and LIBERAL pundits trick you into sitting this one out (or worse yet, into voting for those sorry Democraps)! SHOW THEM that we DO care and will go vote for the RIGHT side once again!
And PLEASE! ... Feel FREE to pass this email along if you'd like! If you got this far, THANKS for listening! :)
< /soapbox > :)
This part from the above bears repeating!!:

Hi ya, Meek!
BTTT
Please vote. The MSM is trying to keep you at home. Show them we will not fall to their propaganda.
voted last week - as usual straight line R
Howdy!! :)
I voted early today.
Voting is not enough. Book your motels in vulnerable districts and volunteer for that GOP candidate's 72 hr push.
Will be sending in my straight (R) tommorow morning.
Same here. Already voted.
The Corleones have voted early..Blue all the way.
Thanks for the good upbeat news! I sure hope all our Republican friends are this upbeat - I plan to go in on election day early here in Arizona. Right now I'm busy phoning early voters for Len Munsil who is running as the Repub. conservative for Governor against a liberal gay governor who has vetoed everything remotely helpful to our border protection, family values, taxes, etc. I cannot stand our current governor and promised to help out - all of you in Arizona PLEASE get the word out for Len Munsil!~
Straight R bump.
Excellent! The folks 'forging' those polls are hoping to deflate the GOP turnout.
The fact is that the GOP is AHEAD of the 'RATS in their vote turnout drive is what I heard.
The 'RATS will be turning beet red before they rupture.
Howdy!Nice to see you, buddy! :)
I had to post this. Hopefully the GOP turnout
will blow away the scumbags once again!
My wife and I just voted here in San Diego. It was easy and quick.
BTTT
Good to see ya Meek!
I voted today in Florida. Straight Republican (including Katherine Harris), voted to throw out the incumbent Supreme Court judges.
Thank you! Keep up your great work! :)
Live in Washington State and forced to vote absentee now. They're in the mail.
BUT we voted a straight ticket this time out...so put two in the R column.
I'll be voting for all the R's in Texas, too. I have a problem with early voting, sooooo I'll be voting on Nov 7th. ;o)
Excellent work, Princess Leah!!!!
I have pinged some AZ FReepers to your post!
Most places that allow early voting don't even allow it to start being counted until the day after the election. Something about not wanting results declared early and discouraging people from voting, like the MSM always does by forgetting Florida is in two timezones and declaring the state's results before the polls close in the panhandle.
Excellent!Thanks folks!
Howdy!And way to go debg!
Blue?--don't you mean red?
just mailed ours, two straight R tickets!
My Wife and I already voted ALL (R) here in TX. I've been calling and emailing like crazy and we are taking elderly to vote tomorrow.
Mood of people I talk with is can't wait to vote *R)
Go to RNC.org and sign up to make phone calls to get out the vote for endangered Republican House and Senate candidates using your free cell phone long distance. You're talking to Republican voters reminding them to vote, so you don't have to worry about people being hostile. It's easy to do and it's fun! They give you a script, it takes less than 30 seconds per call and you really do make a difference. I did this in 2002, 04, and 05. I enjoyed every minute of it.
WOO-HOO!
GOOD on you, Archytekt!!!!!!
bump! bump! bump!
Excellent Meek!
I have my absentee ballot sitting here on my desk (my wife and I vote permenent absentee on the theory that is easier and cheaper *one stamp vs. 15 mile drive to polling place*). You have just given me the kick in the butt I needed to get mine finished tonight and into tomorrow mornings' mail.
I am proud to say that I have voted straight GOP since I first became old enough to vote (in the '78 election- two years later I was very proud to cast my first presidental vote ever for some guy from California - Ronald Wilson Reagan). My ballot will be GOP, right down the line!
Vote all day!
My question is "are there any republican jurisdictions that actually elect dog catchers ?"
If there are, it would be fun to write in bill or Hill for that job and actually get them elected to it.
I didn't kick the bucket (obviously) but I did break my ankle the day I was going to vote several years ago. Since then, I vote early...just in case :)
Excellent! My first vote was in 1972. I remember thinking in 1968
(at the age of 14!) that I wish I could vote. I'd have voted
for Nixon in '68...and DID in 1972!!bump!!
hahahahahaaaaa!Bingo! :^D
Oh, and BTW, for the crowd that is understandably disappointed with the GOP...
Isn't it the DEMOCRATS that MOST need to be TAUGHT A LESSON about what it means to be an AMERICAN IN TIME OF WAR?
Amen! They DO for SURE, my FRiend!
I voted for David McSweeney yesterday.
In the IL-8 Melissa Bean is considered one of the few vulnerable Dem incumbents in the country.
:^D
I voted absentee a week ago and HAND delivered the envelope! All of you in Montana be SURE to mark your X for Conrad Burns. He needs your vote. Tester is a Move-On.org guy and wants to repeal the Patriot Act. PLEASE vote and get others out (just the Repub voting kind)too. We need to retain the Senate! Thanks!
In Texas, a running count of the number of early voters by county is kept. I'm sure it's on the website of the Secretary of State.
The actual votes for candidates are not tabulated. In reality, they're not known until election night when the memory sticks are taken into the central headquarters for tabulation.
But you can certainly get a feel of where turnout is heavy. Republicans often run unopposed in my district since Democrats don't have a prayer of winning. If early turnout is high, it signifies a good Republican turnout. If it's pretty small, that probably suggests an unethusiastic Republican base.
Just mailed in my absentee. Straight GOP ticket, voted no on ALL propositions and voted for none of the judges since I know nothing of their records.
