There has been talk of disgruntled conservatives sitting out the election or even voting Democrat. The motivation seems to be to punish the Republicans for shortcomings in being as conservative as some hope for.
I am curious if any Freepers are falling into this trap and some justification of it.
I have posted in the past that "I am sick and tired of the limp noodle Republicans who have no idea how to exercise power and I am done with them." Yes, I have said that.
But, today is reality. I am not necessarily voting FOR Republicans. I am definitely voting AGAINST Democrats.
For the children
I'm not voting...for Democrats!
VOTE REPUBLICAN!!!
[voted absentee a week ago]
Everyone - get out and vote or we'll get more of this:
In our brave new schools, Johnny can't say the pledge, but he can recite the Quran. Yup, the same court that found the phrase "under God" unconstitutional now endorses Islamic catechism in public school.
A Clinton appointed judge ruled in California's 9th Circuit Court that it's okay for kids to be forced to recite aloud Muslim prayers that begin with "In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful . . . ."
Memorizing the Muslim profession of faith: "Allah is the only true God and Muhammad is his messenger."
Chanting "Praise be to Allah" in response to teacher prompts.
Professing as "true" the Muslim belief that "The Holy Quran is God's word."
Giving up candy and TV to demonstrate Ramadan, the Muslim holy month of fasting.
Designing prayer rugs, taking an Arabic name and essentially "becoming a Muslim" for two full weeks.
Parents of seventh-graders, who after 9-11 were taught the pro-Islamic lessons as part of California's world history curriculum, sued under the First Amendment ban on religious establishment. They argued, reasonably, that the government was promoting Islam.
But a federal judge appointed by President Clinton told them in so many words to get over it, that the state was merely teaching kids about another "culture."

I won't be voting today.
I early voted several weeks ago.
Ditto.
Gotta do what we can to counter the librat's ACORN.
I am not going to vote again today. I would if they would let me.
I am voting.
be there or be square.
I am not a fan of early voting - I guess some are. I like the idea of the whole country on one day at the polls.
I'm not voting today. I voted the first day of early voting. I'm spending today getting other people to vote.
And my sense is that we are more motivated than they are.
Not today, I voted early, last week to avoid the long lines.
Went in and was the only person there when things opened up.
Also then I didn't have to listen to folks bitch.
I'm only voting in spirit (I'm not American). Good luck from this side of the Atlantic!
If anyone reading this fits into this category, know this: You are beneath contempt. You willingly put the nation at risk for your little ego and pity party.
Stop your sobbing and pontificating and get off your butt and vote against Pelosi and her minions.
I wish I could vote today.
Please do it for me.
GET OUT & VOTE!!!!

Prolly should have made a better headline - "Who is Sitting Out the Election?"
Already voted!
Now I sit back and watch everybody scurry around in the rain. Tee hee!
You got it mate!
I voted this morning before I went to work.
not voting republican - voting conservative
got to keep the beasts percentage as low as possible.
Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- Speculation that a pro-abortion member of the Supreme Court may be planning to step down soon is providing a last-minute shake up in a hotly contested Congressional election that is expected to go down to the wire. The head of a judicial watchdog group says political observers believe Justice John Paul Stevens may retire.
Tell more. You found a conservative Democrat to vote for?
I'm voting Republican today but it won't make a difference in my area. I live about an hour outside of New York City.
Just getting ready to walk down there in the rain.
I`m not voting today, early voted 2 wks ago.
Go Corker. Mr Ford is gonna be unemployed after today
Rain`s really coming down here
No way I am voting today. I voted last Tuesday :-)
Voting at 7:00 a.m. for Republicans!!!!!!
LOL! No surprise...
Me too. Absentee voting is great!
I was the first to vote in my precinct this morning. It is raining lightly here. For the presidential race in 2004, there were 50 or more people there when the polls opened. Today, I was the only voter to be seen. This will strongly favor Republicans by days end. My representative (R) and one senator (R) up for re-election are quite safe. My senator is safe enough I voted against him because he supported the McCain-Kennedy Shamnesty.
I can't vote until after I pick up my daughter at her driving class. Then I'll be at the poll most of the day, campaigning for state judge candidates.
GO STEELE, GO SANTORUM!
I think NY actually has a Conservative Party......WFB ran as their candidate in the NYC mayoral once upon a time.
I've not missed voting since I was legal, I'm not about to start now.
Leaving work early (actually, on time for a change) so I get vote this afternoon.
Had a pollster call, first words out of her mouth were,"who are you voting for November 7th?" I told her I was not voting November 7th. She said "you're not?" and immediately hung up!
I had already voted, but found out a good way to get them to leave me alone.
You can! just fly into California, you can even get a drivers license for good measure.
I am NOT voting today! I already voted absentee 2 weeks ago.
I must be one of the gruntled ones.
I advanced voted 2 weeks ago.
I voted so early, it didn't seem like today.
I voted two weeks ago.
LOL... that shot of Heinz always cracks me up!
Getting up from the console, going up to the 45th floor of my building to cast a rare Philadelphia vote for a straight Republican ticket. Plus from up there I have a great view of all the Rat voters lining up at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
I wonder if anyone considers that the bismallah is a vow to Satan.
Got up at 6am to vote. My husband and I decided it would be easiest since we had to take my 97 year old father too. Fewer people out that early and all.
The best part was while one of us was voting the other was terrorizing the Lamont guy out in front by walking our very big bulldog around the polling place =;-)
I just voted in Frederick County Virginia
Republican all the way - Allen and Wolf
I usually vote at 6:30 AM and today was the most crowded I've ever seen it.
Do it anyway.
I've voted against David Price (NC) for the past few elections, and I expect he'll win again, but at least I did what I could.
