Many believe that Sen. John Kerry's Halloween eve statement calling our military personnel ignorant, uneducated failures who have no opportunity for anything other than – gasp – can you believe it – service to their country, is further evidence of the Democrat Party's contemptuous loathing of our military men and women. I believe Kerry's so-called "botched joke" is a deviant pathology of sensus plenior that is emblematic of elitists – particularly those who hold public office – regardless of their party affiliation. This is why liberal Democrats cannot be trusted, and it is why the conservative base is disgusted with pretend-to-be conservative Republicans.
I believe Kerry laid bare the true feelings of both himself and his party, just as he did in the past when he branded Vietnam veterans "war criminals." His latest yellow commentary is consistent with his past comments painting America's finest as little more than marauding barbarians who raped and tortured the people of Vietnam and pillaged their villages in the likeness of Genghis Khan.
If Kerry were a man, he would admit what he said was exactly what he meant, and that the comments were his true, elitist feelings. And if elitist liberals were honest they would admit that they are in complete agreement with him. At that point, the cycle of their contempt for our military could be addressed reasonably. But such cannot be done because they are the elite – which means that all but mirror images of themselves are uninformed and beneath them.
I cannot tell you exactly why liberal elites hate the military – perhaps it is because the military represents, in its purest form, order, loyalty and respect for authority, not the abandonment of same.

They hate them because they know they aren't fit to shine the boots of our wonderful military.
Elitist scum know they will never be the heroes the most unsung of our military already are.
Reminds me of one of my favorite quotes, Nathan Bedford Forrest to Braxton Bragg:
"I have stood your meanness as long as I intend to. You have played the part of a damned scoundrel, and are a coward, and if you were any part of a man, I would slap your jaws and force you to resent it."
I suggest the next time Kerry decides to pass out unsolicited pearls of wisdom – it might be more appreciated by the student body if he shared his secret for cashing in by marrying rich heiresses and widows. If that could be considered service to his country, he would be a general. It cannot be denied – he does have a knack for cashing in on the fruits of another's labor – be they alive or deceased.

Order, loyalty and respect for authority, all of which were abandoned by a great many during the 60's.

Contempt for the military and contempt for the concept of Service To Our Country.Kerry's idea of service involves limousines and Learjets. Anything else is not worth snorting at.
We say "Elitist" rather than The Elite because they are elite in only their own minds and try to make the rest of us think as they do about it.
Liberal disdain for the military begins with their distaste for capitalism. Their abhorence of free markets explains their ambivalence about America, and, as THE MECHANISM of the world-wide spread of capitalism, our military must then, be despised.
Elitists hate the military because the military is a direct threat to the elitists ability to grab control. BY dismantling the military, elitists can govern by laws and use the poplice to enforce those laws.
Why do you think they want to take away our guns?
In the case of Kerry, he actually did something that no one took into consideration. He fired up his base for 2008. If the RATS win today, Kerry positions himself as a "botched joke" not really botched, but calculated to leverage his options. If the left takes control, he can very well come out and say it wasn't a botched joke.
If the Republicans win today, in 2008, Kerry can still come out and say it was a botched joke, and the MSM will still cover it up.
Remember, Kerry doesn't have to appeal to moderates. He just needs the left in the primaries and steal either Ohio or Pennsylvania in the general.

If John Kerry was a man...he wouldn't be Jon Carry. There are people out there who if they'd said this, then said they were trying to make a joke and blew it, I'd be willing to give them the benifit of the doubt. But not this guy, he was speaking from the heart.

THE BOTCHED JOKE IS JOHN FN KERRY.Not his lame attempt at covering his botoxed a$$ He married the widow of a rich republican I wondr how he feels about all that evil GOP earned moeny he lives on. Kerry like most liberals act like they are the smartest people in the room. They are half right, they are in the room. REMEBER: Kerry had lower grades at Yale than did Bush yet Kerry is smarter? Ha.
Elitist attitudes also crop up when you follow the abortion argument to its logical end...most of the unwanted babies that white liberal elitist women want to get rid of are not their own...they honestly think that poor babies would be better off dead...I guess they feel that they'd rather be dead than poor...go figure.
The Bottom line on this Bahstan Brahman is he got his wealth by marrying a WIDOW of an e-v-v-v-v-vil republican. As long as the DUMB-acrats keep nominating East coast elitists like Kerry, DULL-Kakis etc.. the GOP will never loose. Kerry. Kennedy, Howard the angry Dwarf Dean. They certainly don't represent the America I know.
