And they call Ron's supporters "wacko!?"

Yet another reason to not vote for Rino Rudy.
Well that’s the claim even if there’s nothing to indicate it ever happened.
What a jackass.
Don’t you mean another reason to not vote for Mighty Mitt? Sen. Rutherford is Mitt’s Illinois Chairman, not Rudi’s.
This is what you get for opposing the “approved” nominees. Get to the back of the bus. /S
Exactly. Where is the proof of who that guy was, and who he “supports” .
I’m sure the vid was posted by a Deaniac .... ooops ... I mean a Ron Paul supporter .
I’m not a Romney supporter but I just don’t see the evidence that it was “Ripped” from a nutjob’s hand.
Either or, whatever both are worthless RINOS.
Even if one (of hundreds) Romney campaign-guy ripped a sign from the hands of a Ron Paul supporter,
(and that’s not a very nice thing to do,)
such has ZILCH to do with the merits of Ron Paul, and ALMOST ZILCH to do with the merits of Romney.
You might have to explain that one; I don't understand how a Romney campaign official stepping on a Ron Paul sign has anything to do with Rudy.
A Chicago Tribune reporter did see it from what I have heard. And yes, they do not have Sen Rutherford on video taking the sign.
Sorry my bad, but I will not for either anyway.
Yes. I saw Sen Rutherford at Sen Lauzen’s picnic on the 11th. He was way thinner and quite clean shaven.
I do love how Rudy changed NY with tough tactics and I do love the way he handled his city during the 9-11 crisis and I really love the way he knows how to handle a payroll and understands cutting taxes-—gotta love that about the man. For sure.
Hmmm, Paul’s supporters look more like Democrats than Republicans.
Well , it looks like a completey meaningless waste of a thread .
The Deaniacs aka Paul supporters, are really getting desperate . Too bad Ron Paul can’t drive them away from his campaign .
I don't see anything to show who he is or who he supports. It seems unlikely that a Senator is going to wade into a Ron Paul rally and rip a sign out of the hands of one of the many supporters and stand on it, especially unprovoked.
He isn't acting violent. He seems to be calm and collected, and seems to simply be ignoring those who are taunting him.
That just doesn't look like someone who just ripped that sign out of someone else's hands in an attempt to silence them.
This story just doesn't seem credible.
That’s really the meat of the matter. I like Ron Paul and think he would make a great attorney general but many of the people who are attracted to his campaign are real fruitloops.
Whoever the guy is that is standing on that sign, he appears to be very calm and collected despite being surrounded by a lot of people that obviously disagree with him.
He sure doesn't look like someone who just assaulted someone unprovoked.
What a stupid ass. I’m not for Ron Paul, but who is seriously that lame?
The most I get out of the video is a mob of hippies chanting for Ron Paul.
LOL
DOWN HERE IN TEXAS SIGN TAKERS DO NOT FARE WELL
DONT TAKE MY SIGN - SEN RUTHERFORD I AM FROM TEXAS
DONT TAKE MY SIGN - SEN RUTHERFORD I AM FROM TEXAS
This is what you get for opposing the approved nominees.
right on the money.
Lemme guess: You’re a Ron Paul supporter?

Thanks. Saw the video the other day. Alleges that Rep Dan took the sign and threw it down while the nitwit (cheesy mustache) stands on it. I don’t care who someone is supporting, they have that right. Just glad no one clubbed the nitwit like a baby seal.
I saw this too many times at Bill Clinton rallies back when he was running, when pro GHWB ran and nitwits taking signs and tearing them up, etc.
Ohh comeon, the video was a dud, what do you expect to happen on a politcal site such as this?
“gee, Nice try, try again later..”?
LOL, it’s the NFL, Not For Long, welcome to the big leagues Ron Paul...;)
No, you assume that they are more like Democrats just because they don't go to $5,000-a-plate GOP dinners and kiss the party's ass all the time.
So why did you click on it then?
The Deaniacs aka Paul supporters, are really getting desperate
How? Everywhere Paul goes he is drawing hundreds of enthusiastic supporters. It is the GOP establishment who are desperate, calling Paul's supporters kooks just because a minority of far right and far left radicals are trying to hijack Paul's campaign because he's against the war.
Too bad Ron Paul cant drive them away from his campaign
Typical elitist thinking. The purpose of campaigns is to get people out to vote for the candidate. It's not Paul's fault that he's drawing more supporters without pandering or promising goodies like the rest of the field is.
So, do tell, what exactly does a Republican look like? How does one differentiate them from Democrats on sight?
As an aside, it might be easier to differentiate them on visible characteristics since their behavior, at least that of the elected ones, is almost indistinguishable.
And, just out of curiosity, do you find yourself bumping into walls and such? I mean it has to be difficult to navigate with your head all the way up your ass like that.
Are you saying it’s ok to take a sign away from a supporter of an opposing candidate?
What’s the big deal? That he stepped on the dude’s sign? Typical that a Paul supporter didn’t have the balls to take the sign back...only whine about it. Kind of like Paul’s foreign policy, whine yet never use force.
I clicked on a totally misleading thread as did many of us .
To your other assertions , I’ll sum it up by saying , the company one keeps.
I like Paul ,it’s the people who have overtaken his campaign that give me pause .
Those weren’t Republicans, Buchananites, or even Reagan Democrats chanting for Paul , those were Hippies and Deaniacs .
That was the most telling item to come out of that idiotic video , who are the people actually supporting Paul .
Not at all, we are dealing with battleships here, that little dinghy of an episode by some State Senator that no one has ever heard of is a bit of nonsensical political theatre, no more no less.
A minority of radicals ranging from anarchist libertarians to anti-war moonbats are trying to use Paul's campaign as a proxy to push their agenda. Paul's campaign manager has already denounced this.
Those werent Republicans, Buchananites, or even Reagan Democrats chanting for Paul , those were Hippies and Deaniacs
Again, that's just your opinion, your assumptions, because people who don't vote for the establishment types they're automatically kooks or wackos per the groupies who put party over principle. See, this is part of the hypocrisy that I've took FReepers to task on this. You whine about "the sheeple" but yet when these sheeple finally see a candidate they can understand and support you complain about it and call them names.
And if he would have, you guys would have said he's unruly or something ("Typical anarchist Paulistinian, blah blah")
Kind of like Pauls foreign policy, whine yet never use force.
Well it certainly beats intervening and probably getting a broken nose right.
And just how should they 'look'? You have a pre-determined image of how Republican faithful should 'look'? Who said the Republican party was the big tent party. If you don't 'look' like a Republican you may not get in
BTW, I've got quite a few biker friends that you would say don't 'look' Republican. And they're more conservative than any party faithful I've met.
Not at all, we are dealing with battleships here, that little dinghy of an episode by some State Senator that no one has ever heard of is a bit of nonsensical political theatre, no more no less.
Nothing to see here. Move along.
Those werent Republicans, Buchananites, or even Reagan Democrats chanting for Paul , those were Hippies and Deaniacs .
Really? Are you sure? I saw Ron Paul signs in their hands. Perhaps credentials should be checked.
Every Republican should observe the Illinois Republican Party — and become biased to doing the opposite of what they do.
(And by that, I manifestly do not mean, “Diss Romney.”)
Pretty much, what next?
The Cook County commissioner’s third cousin on his mother’s side had his Ron Paul Revolution sign stolen from the front lawn?
Like it or not, Politics, especially the type of grassroots politics that Ron Paul’s supporters (I’m one BTW) engage in will bring these responses.
That’s life, somewhere in Jersey a Rudy sign has been spray painted...want to start a thread about that one?
