The leadership of the Germantown Masjid has refused to conduct funeral services for Howard Cain, the bank robber who killed Sgt. Stephen Liczbinski with a Chinese-made semi-automatic rifle. "No, we will not bury him at Germantown Masjid," said Tariq El Shabazz, managing director of the mosque. "We don't want one slight scintilla hinting that we condone his behavior."

If more Mulsims did this, they would revise western views of Islam.

HOLY COW - I have more respect (today) for these muslims than the entire Roman Catholic Church (who still gives communion and buries with full Catholic rites mobsters and abortionists)...

I would have thought it was God’s place to judge the dead. All it is doing is hurting the family, the dead man is in the hereafter and it where he is buried is probably an irrelevence to him, wherever he is....
They may actually be one of the moderate/”radical” (in a good way) mosques where women don’t have to run around in bedsheets. There’s one near me that’s the same way - the women wear headscarves, but that’s it. Mostly they’re quiet and stay out of the way. This one was put together by Iranian refugees fleeing the mullahs of Iran after the fall of the Shah.
Unfortunately for them, there’s another one not far away that’s more fundamentalist and they’re really irritating.
ME: and you have been to these and can verify the catholic church burying unrepentant sinners, mobsters and abortionists who are not in a state of grace after receiving the last rites or having received the forgivness thru the sacrament of confession?

In both New York and Philly I’ve seen a number of young black women sporting the interesting combination of a Muslim headscarf and very tight jeans. Radical jihadists they’re not. This is a distinct black American brand of Islam that bears little resemblance to the terrorists’ brand.
Probably because his name is Howard Cain and not Mohammmud,Allak, Atol or some other towel head replicate.
