Hundreds of mourners lined up in the pouring rain outside a cathedral Friday to pay their respects to a Philadelphia police officer killed in the line of duty.
Liczbinski, 39, a 12-year veteran of the police force, was fatally shot on Saturday as he responded a robbery at a bank inside a supermarket.
One of three suspects in the holdup was killed shortly afterward by police. A second man was taken into custody on Sunday and a third suspect was captured late Wednesday night.
Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey, speaking to pews packed with officers and loved ones, said Liczbinski's death "represents the kind of heroism that takes place throughout the country every single day by the men and women in uniform."
"Steve is not a hero in my mind because of how he died," Ramsey said. "He's a hero because many years ago he made the decision, he answered a call, he knew that he wanted to help others. ... He chose to become a police officer."

Sorry, I lived in South Chicago for years.
These gents look like homegrown Muslims to me.
Exactly...
You’re right...

When is Rev. Al going to show up in the killers’ neighborhood and protest?
That will be next...
He’ll do anything if they show him enough money just like his buddy jessie jackas*.
In an empty, dark house hidding like the coward he really is.
The only shame is that he was not enough of a man to try a shootout and being the only one hurt and dead. Would have done us all a favor by not having to support him for the rest of his life. We can only hpoe that it will be a really, really shot painful one.
That would have been the best outcome...
I watched part of the funeral today. There were so many policemen there to pay their respects. My daughter brought the baby over, and then I was distracted. ((HUGS))
Yup. Notice the callus the top one has on his forehead, from grinding it into his prayer rug five times a day?
Walid Shoebat said that some radical Muslims actually accentuate that spot by burning it with a hot spoon.
Kind of reminds me of what Yeshua said about praying in public and what reward you get when everyone knows how “pious” you are.
Where did you hear about Eric Floyd being captured?
Police Officer Killing Suspect Eric Floyd Arrested
Is that for real?
Unbelievable...
Thanks for the good news.
You’re very welcome...
Yes. Look at that dark mark on Eric Cain’s forehead. It’s a giant callus. There are a few hard-core Islamic scholars who appear on Al-Jazeera, et al, who have them. They are considered marks of fanatical devotion to prayers.
Thanks for the info. Most people would be clueless about that fact...
