Edwards To Endorse Obama
May 14, 2008 5:04 PM
ABC News' Kate Snow, Raelyn Johnson and Rick Klein Report: Former Sen. John Edwards is endorsing Sen. Barack Obama's presidential candidate Wednesday evening, in a dramatic attempt by the Obama campaign to answer concerns regarding Obama's appeal to working-class voters, several senior Democratic sources tell ABC News.
Edwards, who ran for president on a platform of eradicating poverty, plans to appear alongside Obama in Grand Rapids, Mich., Wednesday evening. The event comes one day after Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton defeated Obama by 41 points in the West Virginia primary, and Edwards' endorsement will give Obama a key establishment stamp of approval as he attempts to close out the nominating process.
Edwards and his wife, Elizabeth, have remained studiously neutral since the Edwards campaign came to a close Jan. 30. Edwards on Sunday called Obama "the likely nominee," but made clear that his statement reflected a judgment about the state of the race, not necessarily a personal preference.

Was there ever any doubt that Elizabeth Edwards wife would back the DUMoveonKos candidate?

The Democrat Breck girl is trolling for the VP slot. Obama needs someone to help him with older white woman vote, Edwards is probably to feminine to get him much of that vote.

What a “profile in courage.” Wait until Barry has it all but clinched, and then endorse him. If Hillary somehow finagles the nomination (stranger things have happened) she is going to massacre these fools.

Except for the tobies who work on his plantation, what is Edwards’ connection to “working class voters.”

LOL. Brit Hume just said of it, “Big deal.”
To: Sub-Driver
Ye experts...Edwards got some percent of the WV vote last night. Did he get delegates from it, or are they just unofficial or something, because he’s out of the race?

Well, Edwards has 20+ pledged delegates to the convention. Odds are most will now endorse Obama, since their first choice candidate is endorsing him. That makes Hillary’s job of getting delegates that much tougher.

delagates, shemelagates. For Hillary, it is not about delagates, but votes.

No delegates unless a 15% threshold is met.

It makes as much sense as Hillary's connection with working class people. She & her slime husband have been at the taxpayer's trough their entire lives.
If the working class people who are dumb enough to support her - they could be persuaded by Edwards too.
The thought of her & Slick back in the White House makes my skin crawl..Anything to stop them is ok with me.
Bad enough Slick was CIC - but the thought of her being in charge of our military makes me sick..especially after treating them like servants when the creeps lived in our White House.

...yawn...Agreed.............Only Edwards would come out for a man who has no idea of how many states make up his nation - hint: it ain't 57. A man who hasn't a clue about the economy, knows nothing about what lies between Illinois and California, "bitter" Pennsylvanians and other typical white Americans......actually Edwards is a bit smarter than the magic negro, maybe not as tasteful but a bit smarter plus he has a wife that loves her country....Michelle only knows what she has learned all these years from Marxist professors and hate filled pastors...a truly sordid picture from which Ms. Obama is crippled for life...hardly the stuff of America's first lady.

If it hadn't have been for 25,000 votes going to Edwards in WV, Hiltery would have beaten Barack, who is Hussein and Mohammed, Obama, by almost 50 points there.
In fact, Hitlery has gotten more popular votes than Obama since super Tuesday.
That's because more and more Americans, even among Democrats, are seeing that Barack, who is Hussein and Mohammed, Obama is a marxist, anti-American, bigoted, individual who is the absolute apex of the domestic enemey movement within this country. His entire campaign is making fools of us all.

I am the one I have been waiting for...

...but I am the one who YOU are going to get.
