Question, where is Henderson?

Just in time for the Supreme Court decision on Heller, likely tomorrow.

Henderson sits on the Ohio River in western Kentucky, about ten to fifteen miles from Evansville, Indiana. The article mentions this, but Free Republic won’t let me post the entire piece.

Directly across the Ohio river from Evansville, IN where I live. It’s been a madhouse for about 5 hours around here.

It’s a quiet little town on the Ohio river. John James Audubon spent several years there.

Thanks. It sounded familiar, don't think I have ever been there. Unless caves are there or some other historical site. But I have a lot of family in the area, just wanted to make sure there was no chance any of them worked in the area.

What was it all about? Love triangle? Supervisor is mean? Worker is a psycho?...................

Worker argued with supervisor then started shooting, then killed self.

Just hang loose, in a few days we will leak the truth. More than likely there were about to be lay-offs or something.

Actually, worker had argument, went home, got handgun, came back and shot six coworkers, then offed himself - the coward.

Killed supervisor and the guy he had argued with plus several others and himself, according to local paper quoting Henderson PD.

What a damn shame. Looks like he was a pretty good shot.

Of course it would be better if the bad guys were incompetent but unfortunately evil has skill as well.

I am sure the left will use this incident to further pound the USSC to deny 2d amendment rights under the Constitution, before they release the findings.

No names released yet. Shooter was a 25-year old Henderson man.

How sad... Prayers for all involved and their families and friends.

The company should be liable if they did not allow their employees to arm themselves while (obviously) not being able to guarantee their safety.

Something like this happens every time gun control is on the front burner. With the Heller decision due out tomorrow, It wouldn’t surprise me if the brady bunch somehow got this guy to do this in order to influence the decision.

I'll tell ya what Grandma!! I will take a hick or hillbilly over an elitist snob any day! Case in point, I live in the NE, and when I come back from a family visit, I go through culture shock, the difference is that drastic. People, by and large, in the NE are snobs, don't get involved, and even rude types. They are known for being “cold”.

God willing, I will retire to KY. Where people are still “neighborly! (these days, that is definitely a southern word.)
