The Phantom Menace

Is there any way to stop the nightmarish drama

That will come if the next President is Barack Obama?

Or are we fated to be sent back on our knees

And deal with another period of “America Under Siege”?

I thought this nightmare ended back in 2001

When the last days of the Clinton administration were done.

I couldn’t have imagined another con-man Democrat

Walking back into the place where Ronald Reagan once sat.

Yet, seven years later, here were are again—

Half the country is rabid, with a fetish and a yen

For a man with virtually no qualification to lead.

Granted, the American mood isn’t hard to read

With gas prices through the roof and an economy in flux.

But that doesn’t mean you vote for a guy who flip-flops and ducks

Whenever hard questions are asked and real issues are raised.

He can only win if a majority of folks are in a daze.

Sadly, it appears that this is actually the case.

In addition to “white guilt”, there is the loyalty of race

Felt by left-wing African-Americans ready to vote for a brother

Filled with dreams from his father and nightmares from his grandmother.

The college kids say Obama fills them up with hope and dreams

But they’re too naïve to realize that he’s not all that he seems.

These twentysomething moonbats never think of matters weighty—

They actually think Lenin passed away in 1980!

Bush Sr. followed by Clinton, followed by Bush Jr., nearly followed by another Clinton, but could be someone even worse (yes Virginia, there could be something worse)

WHAT PART OF, HISTORY REPEATS ITSELF, DO WE NOT UNDERSTAND?

It has started already ,a Black Woman and America Hater in Denver Asked by city officials to Sing The Star Bangled Banner at a gathering ,she agreed and then goes and sings The Black National Anthem ! I guess this is the CHANGE we are going to see ,they cant even wait . There was such an uproar she apologized to the Mayor but then went on the evening news and took it back ! She Must love Michelle Obama ,since she is the one who said we are going to have to change our traditions

O’bama’s “CHANGE”:

1. 2 Senators for the District of Columbia. No filibustering Obama’s change!

2. Abolish the electoral college. No red state rednecks
tellin the big cities how things are gonna be.

3. Pack the Supreme Court, just like FDR did to get HIS change. 3 more justices ought to do it. BTW, they’ll all make Maxine Waters look like John Birch. Prolly one of them be Hillarhea!!

4. Fairness Doctrine. Outlaw Dissent. The only point of view you need is the Bamaview.

This man gets elected, with a Democrat Congress .....THIS is the coming change.

The Tree of Liberty will wither.....

A presidency with Obama in charge will not be like the Clinton years. It will be as if Carter came back to the White House and did an even worse job.

“An Obama Presidency fills me up with dread and fear.
Can we really handle four (or perhaps even eight) years
Of higher taxes, socialism, left-wing judges and moonbat rage?
Obama could do to this country what Gerry Studds did to the page!”

Reagan’s biggest mistake was his first action, picking Bush to be his VP. We’d never heard of Clinton or Dubya, if not for that fatal mistake.

And just why is it that we follow up a Republican President with a Democrat? It is not because the Republican we chose was "Republican", but rather because he was not Republican enough. This goes for the congress as well, as the blame falls on their shoulders too.

What do I mean by "not Republican enough"? A great many of us count ourselves as Republicans because we think of our party representing the conservative values of limited federal government, the rights and importance of individuals, free enterprise, lower taxes, and national strength and pride (to name a few). But then we go and elect people who forget these values as soon as they take office and think themselves elite and above the law and whose only purpose then becomes lining their own pockets.

I firmly believe that as the system now stands it is not possible to have a good, honest, conservative candidate run for President. In order to have enough money to run, one must be beholden to all sorts of special interest groups. One must have a cold heart made of stone because it is inevitable that a candidate's personal life and family secrets and skeletons will be drug out and displayed, not only the real secrets, but made-up ones as well. And one mentions his belief in God at great peril.... oh he can say he is a "Christian" but he risks ridicule if he admits that he actually relies on God's guidance in his daily decisions.

So we go to each election with candidates to chose from that are a far cry from the values we hold dear. We weep and gnash our teeth and vote for the "lesser of two evils" and end up with what we deserve.

The system is broken. It's going to take a revolution to fix it. I hope and pray that we can devise a revolution that does not involve gun fire. A massive effort to sweep the "Fair Tax" into law would be a start as it would radically alter the economy (making people less likely wanting the government to change hands in hopes that their economic situation will improve) and almost completely take away congress's ability to pander to special interests. Then when the incentive for election is not lining ones own pockets, perhaps our elected officials can return to their original purpose of responsibly running the government and representing the "people".

An Obama presidency will be the end of this country as we have known it.

I would be willing to bet that Reagan did not do the picking. I believe he held more than a little animosity toward Bush Sr. Conservatives drove GWHB from the pimaries because of his globalist tendacies. The move to globalist government has accelerated dramatically in the last few years. Thanks in large part to GOP “leadership”.

Isn't it time the voters no longer should be forced to choose between the ‘least’ and ‘worst’ evil, when the difference between them is minuscule. If all conservatives stand together, they will be able to reform the Republican Party, turning it once again into a truly conservative party, and bring back again the America we all dream of.
