1 shot to death, 1 injured in South Side drive-by Tribune staff report 7:54 AM CDT, July 5, 2008 A second man shot as he sat in a vehicle on Chicago's South Side late Thursday has died. Martin Hoard, 29, of the 6000 block of South Indiana Ave., died at Stroger Hospital following the shooting. He was parked in the 6700 block of South State Street when a car pulled up about 10:50 p.m. and fired shots into their vehicle, said Officer Amina Greer, a police spokeswoman. John Duncan, 22, of the 8000 block of South Paulina Street, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Once again, Daley’s gun ban, which according to his brain prevents gun violence, is working just about as well as anything else in his administration.
Please keep in mind that Dick Daley and his family enjoy a taxpayer funded 24 hour a day armed police security detail, while the taxpayers who fund hizzoner’s safety are not permitted to own guns to protect themselves.
Daley continues to ignore calls to dismiss his armed bodyguards and send them back to work protecting Chicago taxpayers. For Martin Hoard, it’s too late. Daley’s gun ban somehow missed his killer. Daley continues to cower behind 24/7 armed police protection that he and he alone is entitled to.

Oh yeah...if you call where I-90 and I-94 split off “the suburbs” it sure is. I wonder if Daley will claim exactly that!
Nope, that’s ALL CHICAGO baby! Where gun violence doesn’t happen becuase there is a GUN BAN and banning guns keeps them from being used by criminals! You’d have to fight your way out of that neighborhood to get to the Suburbs!

We in Milwaukee had 6 shot (4 dead) at one scene in Milwaukee yesterday. Good thing conceal carry is outlawed or we could have had a real gunfight on our hands.
