Obama: We have to win in Afghanistan – but what about Iraq?
The Pittsburgh Tribune Review ^ | Salena Zito

As Sen. Barack Obama beefs up his national security and foreign policy creds with a speech today on Iraq and Afghanistan -- his campaign Web site purged his former views critical of the surge in Iraq. The Daily News is reporting that Obama's campaign scrubbed his presidential Web site over the weekend to remove criticism of the U.S. troop 'surge' in Iraq. The Daily News reports that the "presumed Democratic nominee replaced his Iraq issue Web page, which had described the surge as a 'problem' that had barely reduced violence." Obama's old plan stated that the 'surge is not working.' In his speech today concerning Iraq and Afghanistan, Obama said when it comes to Afghanistan "that is a war we have to win." Which makes one wonder has Obama ever said that we have to win in Iraq?

Barry O is the least qualified man to run for the presidency since JFK.....has he ever run ANYTHING?

Did he even have a paper route when a kid?

Does he know how many branches of the military there even are?

Will the American people elect this jackass because ABCBSNBCNN tell them too?

At least JFK was in the House and the Senate before running for President.

That's pretty much it.

The fight, folks, isn't against crazy goofballs like BHO. There will always be crazy goofballs like BHO.

Instead, the fight is against the MSM that sympathizes with the crazy goofballs, and gives them legitimacy.

Get the AP out of your local small town newspaper, and get a conservative news source on local FM station, and the battle will be won.

This is not out of the realm of possibility.

If your measure is executive experience you forgot John Kerry and Bob Dole. Neither of whom ever ran anything.Yet comparing the haloed one to JFK is giving the haloed one entirely too much credit. JFK was a twice elected congressman and a twice elected Senator by the time he ran in '60. He had campaigned to be Stevenson's VP in 56 and had been taken somewhat seriously. He served in combat in the South Pacific, and if correctly criticized for losing the 109 boat in the manner he did, he returned to duty and served quite honorably.

The haloed one has zero achievements in his resume. His success is measured in an overblown estimation of his rhetoric and in the his ability to work Chicago politics, and in John F Kerry's attempt at drama in '04 by naming the haloed one as keynote speaker. There is nothing in the life of the haloed one that can stand comparison with JFK, who BTW, was the actual conservative candidate in 1960.

Settle for only a chance at .500? Don't forget, Afghanistan is still a crap shoot! So we suffer 4000+ KIA in Iraq... and 25-30,000 casualties so snot-nose Obama and Harry Reid can officially declare the war lost when we actually won it.

If America falls for these traitors in November... we'll deserve every horror that they'll bring upon us!

Exactly how does reading crib notes beef up a person's credentials? Hussein's only credentials are that of a crime-ridden Chicago politician.

Barack can't say he's for Iraq. That'd be his biggest flip flop.

He already knows that Iraq is dying down, and there are troops headed to Afqhanistan from Iraq soon. However, If he's elected, just watch him try to take credit for both.

JFK was known as “Mattress Jack” during his days in the Senate.....he never sponsored a single piece of legislation that became law. Same is true with his stint in the House.

What some who served with him remember was the time he used to take off.....for vacations with beautiful women....and for veneral treatments.

Barry doesn’t even have THAT kind of experience.

If elected, he will be a disaster.
