According to the Fox O'Reilly Factor
He lists his mother-in-laws' residence in an elderly area that doesn't allow children...Wexler has three teenagers.
He actually lives in Maryland and claims to own a home in Florida which is a lie. I wonder where he pays taxes? If at all.
No problem. Senator Dodd can hook him up with his loan officer at Countrywide.
He’s pulling a kennedy
GET HIM OUT!
Who? And why do I care what he/she utters????
A fine Senator from Penn. was defeated over such as this. Rick Santorum even had a house in Penn, whereas Wexler has only his mother-in-law’s house to claim residence. But he’s a beloved democrap so he will not be held accountable to the rules.
The law is only for the poor, conservatives and those who chose to obey but not them, they are above the law.
It’s OK, he’s a Democrat. Lets move along now.
He probably has Al Sharpton’s lawyer.
If you don’t care then don’t read it.
I’ll not be holding my breath waiting for the same kind of wall to wall prime time coverage about this as there was for ole Ricky.
Trying to focus. What rules are you referring to and what specifically did he do? I feel like I came in on reel three.
“I wonder where he pays taxes?”
You can bet your life if he has a choice between FL or MD it’s FL. MD taxes are obscene. The new Demonrat governor just held a special closed session of the legislature last year to raise taxes, not because they needed the money, he just wanted to spend more.
He looked like a deer in the headlights when asked about whether he lived with his mother in law where there are NO KIDS allowed.
Don’t you just love when the rules are for everyone else?!
Liddy Dole hadn’t lived in NC for 40+ years when she used her mother’s address to run for the Senate.
To run for office from a district one is required to be a resident of that district. Wexler lives in Maryland and has for more than a decade now. He has no residence in South Florida, though his ML does ... and of course he claims it as his residence.
Darn, just north of where Allen West is running!
I’m not okay with that. Are you?
Repeat after me...TERM LIMITS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
12 (2 terms) in the Senate
12 (6 terms) in the House
Senators required to sit out one full Senate term.
Representatives required to sit out 2 House terms.
Hillary at least had lived in NY almost all her life before running for the Senate!!
( Sarcasm lamp is lit)
O Reilly deserves big time thumbs up on this one..... Wexler is a classic POS and personal pal of Randi Rhodes......Please don’t comment on stuff you are not concerned or passionate about
I was wondering what was the source of that foul odor. All this time it was that puking mutt Wexler.
Boo Hoo, Boo Hoo, the butterfly ballot’s gonna get me....
This seems to work well for Rep. Ed Markey, too.
Wexler is for sure NOT someon you can drink beer with... as a matter of fact, this turd is the dude that should always be picked on... what a douche.
Well, at least the same state.
Wexler has long been one of the VERY WORST.
Now this.
Naturally, he wins to the end in this world line
(as we lose).
But, if you’re patient ...
i think we’ll get him in the afterlife, though.
Amen to that! Not getting a term limits amendment passed was the biggest failure of Newt's 1994 revolution. Its time to try again.
‘...and who shall not, when elected, be an Inhabitant of that State in which he shall be chosen...’
I wish this was a way to get rid of Wexler, who imho is a LOW LIFE, but, John Fund was on with O’Reilly and he said what Wexler is doing is not against the law. Too bad....would love to give this guy a dose of his own meds.
Here is a guy who loves raising your taxes and he pulls something like this. Kick the bumb out. He’s a piece of crap.
What is Florida’s legal definition of a resident?
What address does he use on his Federal Income Tax returns?
What receipts does he possess that show that he meets the state and Federal income tax requirements for residency?
That’s the larger question. He could be breaking a bunch of laws here.
But laws are for the little people, you know.
Aw, come on. Wexler spent his school years having his lunch taken. I agree with others, Wexler lends a new and higher definition to the term a**hole.*
thanks...I care about the stench.
I hope at least it's rent-controlled.

Lynch, meanwhile, said he intends to file legal papers about the issue in the coming weeks.
“That brings up a bunch of problems with respect to it is not truly his home, and it can’t be his home, and he’s using that address as his address to vote from,” Lynch said.
Where is he registered to vote?
I believe the origin of this law, was the congress. Most members of congress will purchase in the DC area, including Maryland. It's a good thing to do, rather than rent. Their expenses probably pay their mortgage.
So far the only suspicious thing I saw was that this guy lives in Fla at his in-laws where children cannot live more than 2 months a year. Maybe the kids are in Maryland the rest of the time.
We're so hungry to get some of these people, we start the meal without checking the ingredients.
bttt
Florida according to the article.
I don't think he lives there at all.
To run for office from a district one is required to be a resident of that district.
Is that a Fed or state law?..... What happens in redistricting when a congress critter is moved out of his district? Seems I’ve read of that happening before but don’t know the reprecussions regarding being able to run or be re-elected.
I think the question is much simpler - where does he STAY when he is in FL on business? If, when he comes ‘home’ to attend to constituent affairs, he is staying routinely in a hotel or a short term rental of some sort, and not at his MIL’s home where he claims residence and voter registration, then it is most clearly a fraud.
If he stays at her place when he is in town then it is a much smaller issue in my mind.
Simple question: when in FL for his home town trips where has he most commonly stayed in the past?
The funny part would be if he were forced to now stay with her more often than he has previously, and she gets sick of his smarmy self-righteous a$$ and kicks him out.
These questions are way beyond my ‘pay grade’. But here in E. TN I seem to recall (decades ago) a district redrawn taking into account the residence of the sitting rep so that the rep remained in the district.
Well that wasn’t in evidence tonight. So, we saw him in Maryland? So what? If you want to prove someone doesn’t live somewhere, you got some homework to do. Let’s not bury the body, yet.
He’ll have to put in some appearances I would think or OReilly’s producer will pop out of the bushes.
