As Barack Obama travels abroad, Americans seem to think most members of the media are in line with his message, according to the latest FOX News poll.
Nearly 7/10 Americans (67%) say they believe most in the media want Obama to win the November election - while a scant 11 percent think the media are pulling for John McCain.

The percentage that believes that the MSM is in the tank for Obama will only go up the closer we get to November, and this does not bode well for Obama's campaign.
Will the MSM - from now on - try to make it look as if they are being fair to McCain?

But it will be just more spin by the MSM to try and provide political cover for Barack Obama - and themselves.

Typically, the washington core media is 90-10 for the Democrat.
People should retort that - besides that being BS from the MSM - when the MSM says that they are engaging in race-baiting.
The msm are the victims of their overhype. As another freeper posted yesterday, the media being so in the tank for Obama, the November election will be a referendum on their credibility. If Obama loses, the what little credibility they had left will be gone.

This won’t help Obama’s campaign, because now there are percentages to show that - according to peoples preceptions - the MSM is in the tank for Obama.
And those 67% are correct in their perceptions.
Remember how Hollywood’s backing of Gore and Kerry sealed their doom in the eyes of the public? This election year, the msm is acting the same way, and the public is getting sick of it even sooner.

MSNBC lost lots of viewers when they called Florida for Gore in 2000. I see this current climate in a similar manner. The media is holding hands with Obama and his fate could very well be theirs.
I do have to admit that it would look a whole lot better if that poll came from ABC or CNN.

That's not accurate. It's 100% for Obama and minus 25% for McCain.
I saw a clip of some NBC show interviewing the NBC director of political news or some such, and he said that what was happening was right because we all already know and like McCain but that this vote is a “referendum on Obama” so the news sould focus on him. Seriously, I couldn’t believe it.

The MSM has been so over the top for Obama, it’s actually shocking. Fox has been about the only cable news network with even a sense of balance.
Yesterday, CNN went on and on about how great Obama’s speech was, comparing it to speeches by Robert Kennedy and Reagan. The praise was more overflowing than from his own camp.
Dissing our troops at the hospital, along with the empty, flowery rhetoric of his “great speech” is taking a toll.
Today, MSNBC has finally begun to question the Obama European hype. Apparently the Obama Hot Air Balloon has a leak.
