Yes, this article does capture the nature of the Obama true believers. I tried this a.m. to get an idea of how people understood the speech by reading the NYT, WP and WSJ. No help.
Everyone says the words were wonderful, but they don’t understand what they augur for. One pundit summed it up by saying, Obama was asking Germany for more financial and military help in Afghanistan. Good luck! He will need it.

To his credit, that's true--the quote on talk radio up here was, "America can't do it all alone; we need Europe's help to fight terrorism, etc.," to sum it up.
