YOU have to feel for John McCain. When he saw the clip of Barack Obama effortlessly sinking a three-point shot in front of the troops in Kuwait, he must've felt like Tiger Woods' opponent at this year's US Open who blurted: "I'm playing against a monster."
The Politico reported that, even halfway around the world, "the Obama campaign machine appears as sprawling and seamless as it is on its home turf."
Back home, McCain's team sputters along.

McCain to his credit is STILL running neck and neck in battleground States.
To: Para-Ord.45
Huh? I think the rainclouds have begun to unleash the storms on Obama’s parade, not McCain’s.

That's why he's behind by double-digits in the polls.
Wait, he isn't?

Aside from becoming president of the Harvard Law Review, that’s the only thing I will give Obama props on — he does have a mean outside shot. Maybe he can challenge bin Laden to one-on-one.

Actually, I have read that the three-pointer was edited to make it appear it was the first attempt. It was, apparently, the third attempt - but the press and/or campaign couldn’t stand to let the world see BHO as human.

Aside from becoming president of the Harvard Law Review, thats the only thing I will give Obama props on I'm not even sure how much credit he should get on that. He is probably the only editor in the history of the Review who never wrote a single original piece for it during his editorship.
Once I read the story of how he was elected editor, I was no longer as impressed. It's obvious the student body, overwhelmingly lib to lefty, was smitten with the idea of electing their first black editor, and that helped him win the election.

Too bad President Bush didn't get the same accolades for the strike he threw during the World Series shortly after 9/11.
Oh, how I hate the press.

Yawn. Really big government prevailing over merely big government. Anyone for smaller government? Do I hear an echo in an empty room?
To: Daveinyork
WELL THEN .. I SAY MORE CHAOS FROM MCCAIN.
THE BATTLEGROUND STATES ARE FADING AWAY FROM
OBAMA AND HIS BRILLIANT CAMPAIGN , EVERYDAY A
NEW STATE OR MORE TURNS RED AND THIS TREND IS BEEN
GOING FOR 2 WEEKS.
To: RED SOUTH
So, you prefer the merely big government(McCain), rather than the really big government (Obama)?
To: stockstrader
LOL. I assume that is a rhetorical question.

The Politico reported that, even halfway around the world, "the Obama campaign machine appears as sprawling and seamless as it is on its home turf." This is a joke right?
Obama can't come up with a reasonable explanation for stiffing the troops, he's at odds with the military over his goofy surrender plans, the controversy at the Wailing Wall won't die, etc.
Was this written by an Obama staffer???
McCain's canpaign looks slick next to this goof.
To: Para-Ord.45
Rush is saying just the opposite. How come the more Americans see Barry, the more his numbers fall. And the pics of Barry in Europe are back-firing big time! How come McCain is gaining in the polls while it's a non-stop Obamamercial. Rush says that if the Drive-Bys had so much power, Barry would be leading by 60 points by now. Rush says that this election will be a referendum on Barry Hussein Obama and Michelle My Belle Obama. Fatigue has set in. The best thing for Barry to do now, is run and hide somewhere. Keep the faith, FRiends.
By the way, Bloomie is endorsing McCain today.

Keep your head down brother.
Too many of the so-called conservatives around here will accuse you of being from DU if you point out the obvious truth like that.

“Too many of the so-called conservatives around here will accuse you of being from DU if you point out the obvious truth like that. “
What so-called conservatives say is of no consequence. Are there any real conservatives, ie for smaller, more constitutional, government? Has Bush purged them out of the GOP?
To: Para-Ord.45
McCain is a dunsel but ANY republican (including Ronald Reagan) could not get any traction from the left wing media monster.
Obama is wholey a product of left wing bias of the media. The clinton’s just failed to put the racist bias of the left into their calculus.
