Fourth of July message: ALLEN WEST

On this Fourth of July, as we celebrate our Country’s freedoms, I want you all to know about a great American. His story so powerful, Susan and I felt compelled to share it with you on this day in the spirit of those who have also served so honorably, that we may all enjoy the blessings of freedom.

His name is Lt Col Allen West and he is running for US Congress. Upon detailed inquiry my wife Susan and I have chosen to support Col. West and we could not be more proud of this man or more excited about his candidacy.

Allen has retired from the Army after twenty years and many honors, including the Bronze Star in Desert Storm. In fact, you may have already have heard of him. As battalion commander for the Army’s 4th Infantry Division, he sacrificed his career in 2003 by frightening an Iraqi police officer into divulging plans for an ambush on his men. While only some of you can vote for Allen, we encourage all to support him- and here’s why. He is a true American Hero with the charisma of Ronald Reagan and the intellect of Newt Gingrich. He is a Black, Conservative, Leader, with real vision for our Country.

As Allen retired from the Army, he realized that America’s security could not be defended by armed men alone. It also needs strong, principled, and dedicated leadership. Washington D.C. is broken, but with the right leadership it can be fixed. Here are a few statements from Allen on the issues:

** anti-American pacifists to write “Rules of Engagement” that that tie our hands while we fight a war, and that our enemies use against us;

** hostile foreigners and liberal journalists with anti-American agendas to dictate military tactics and foreign policy to our nation; and

** nave anti-war activists and politicians to betray the honor and sacrifices of our soldiers, sailors, airmen, special forces, Guardsmen, and Marines in harm’s way for a quick and shameful resolution to Iraq and other potential conflicts.

FOR ECONOMIC RESTORATION: With a recession looming – WHY IS WASHINGTON talking about raising taxes, increasing wasteful spending, and placing draconian regulations on business?

FOR A MORE SECURE AMERICA: At a time when we must remain eternally vigilant against the threat to our homeland -- WHY IS IT that we are allowing tens of thousands of illegal aliens to pour across our undefended borders each month?

FOR ENERGY INDEPENDENCE: We must use our own resources. Most of the world’s biggest energy suppliers are also either outright enemies of the United States (Iran and Venezuela) or quiet supporters of our terrorist foes (Saudi Arabia) -- WHY IS IT that we refuse to use our own vast natural resources offshore (where BOTH Cuba and China are preparing to drill), the Gulf and the upper Midwest states, and in Alaska?

As Jewish Americans we support Allen West over incumbent Ron Klein, a Jewish Congressman. Let me tell you why:

Klein has a known documented Islamic terrorist sympathizer sitting on the anti-Semitic task force, Congressman Keith Ellison. When Congressman Klein was informed, in person, by Joe Kaufman of Americans Against Hate of Ellison's public record, Klein refused to request Ellison step down off the committee. Klein refused to review the materials he just took his (Ellison’s) word that he was not.

It is time we stop with the standard response and start to analyze the potential issues. Congressman Klein is part of an agenda which will not supportIsrael. He is aligned with Senator Wexler (his new book: ‘Fire Breathing Liberal’) who is in lock step with Senator Obama who has too many anti Israel advisors, advocates and friends to list here though I am sure they are known to you.

Many of these advisors, friends and advocates have the most vehement and vitriolic anti-Jew, pro-Palestinian, Hamas, Hezbollah voices. Some are even ‘elected officials’ who cloak themselves in a ‘perfect voting record’ on Israel.

We support retired Lieutenant Colonel Allen West as his actions speak far more than any empty words and his words back up his actions. He has been there and fought to ensure the security of America,Israel, and western civilization. I shall give you a prime example.

On 20 March 2008 there was to be a debate at a local Jewish synagogue in Delray Beach sponsored by the Zionist Organization of America between Congressman Klein and

Lt. Col West. The subject of the debate was to be "Radical Islam's effects upon America". The invitations were sent out well in advance and on 8 February just two days before the debate, Congressman Klein's office sent a regret statement. He was actually in town on Spring break recess. We came to hear Congressman Klein and LtCol West, West, true to his code of honor was there, and carried on and presented himself in astonishing and impeccable manner.

We support someone who has earned our respect, not assumed he is ‘entitled’ to it.

The incumbent sits atop a $4,000,000 war chest and refuses to debate Lt.Col West.

We the public, including Jewish electorate of SoFla.are missing out and just being taken for granted by someone who has not a strand of leadership capability.

Allen West deserves your financial support, and based upon his principles, would never ask, just present himself to you for assessment.

I wrote back and told them to go the H. E. double hockey sticks. They frittered away 8 years with the nemsis of Lott and company that was toooooo scared by Dashole .. so he jumped to share power. It was the beginning of an 8 year fall off the cliff. Spineles, gutless wonders .... only proefficient in one thing ...gettin reelected.

I no longer will support the RNC nor will I vote for jerks and RINOS that spit in this old farm boy’s conservative face saying I don’t know what is best .. they as the elite gang of 535 and are so much more versed in the Country’s needs

They have made a BIG mess ... focus on Barry Bonds and show indgnant anger and ignore the ponzi scheme social security. The oil execs madee those morons we elect look stupid .. you would think that they would understand the basics of economics ... but I digress.

I will leave candidates blank when I vote if they are not conservative or spineles ... Don’t care if they have an R behind them.

I WILL support Conservative candidates financialy and with my vote ...no mater where they are in the nation. I will no longer give to the RNC. I will no longer vote for their stinking moderate RINO’s that they push down our throat .Enough is enough.

This is an interesting man ... I like what he says thus far and after I find out more, I will support him financially. My dollars do not have to stay at home.
