Things slowly got back to normal on Tuesday. We were all relieved that the storm affecting the Gulf Coast wasn't as catastrophic as forecasted. Tuesday also happened to be the debut of my book, "My Dad, John McCain." The day began with a book signing at the CivicFest celebration in Minneapolis. At almost exactly 10 PM Eastern, my Brighthouse cable went completely black. My dad, who lives on the other side of town, called and said that he's having the same problem. I've tried calling Brighthouse and their line is constantly busy, so it must be affecting a large number of people.
