Okay. So, I went to my town's Fall Festival, dressed in my McCain/Palin gear. I expected to be harrassed, heck, I expected to be pushed to the ground. After all, The Fake One did send out marching orders to "get in their face" and I live in blue blue DEMONcrat Long Island. Anywho.....the day DID NOT turn out as I expected. I cannot tell you how many thumbs up,nods of approval and "Go McCain" I received (only 1 call for obama as I walked by, and a sneer as we took the pic below)!!! I actually had people coming up...

CANTON Thomas Buckius registered to vote last month when canvassers came to his neighborhood as part of a voter registration drive. "I want (Democratic presidential nominee Barack) Obama to win because he'll be the first African-American president," said Buckius, 21, who lives in a southwest neighborhood comprising mostly of blacks. "I think he can do better than what Bush is doing." But Obama didn't have Buckius' vote in the bank yet. Buckius said he didn't know when Election Day was, nor where he was supposed to vote. And while Buckius insisted he'll figure out how to get to the polls,...

Just wanted to warn anyone if they are thinking of ordering any McCain/Palin yard signs, bumper stickers, shirts, etc from this website. I placed an order for 1 yard sign and bumper sticker 1 month ago, and still have not received my items. Apparently after the announcement of Palin as VP their orders went up significantly, they were taking orders for merchandise they couldn't supply. I spoke to someone on the phone, they said their website had crashed, but I "should" get my sign shipped by next week. They haven't returned emails, and I have to go shopping elsewhere. Can...

The McCain campaign, acting through the Republican National Committee, has been negotiating with Rep. Ron Paul to win his support and acquire the names of his sympathizers among the 4,607 delegates and alternates at the Republican National Convention, according to a senior aide to the Texas congressman. The aim is to try to win support for the John McCain-Sarah Palin ticket from Paul sympathizers, some of whom formally committed to Mr. Paul during his campaign for the Republican presidential nomination and others of whom are closet sympathizers of his libertarian brand of Republicanism. Sen. McCain and national party strategists worry...

WASHINGTON - Iranian support for militias in Iraq has grown, top U.S. defense leaders said Friday, asserting that recent battles in Basra gave the Iraqis an eye-opening view of Iran's increased negative role there.
