I have not heard anyone advocating any change in bedrock Republican principles. Unless and unti they change (and party members who do not adhere to them does not mean they have changed). I will look to a rededicated GOP as our only possible salvation. Frustrated for the moment, to turn to that pitiful coalition of Leftists and pressure groups, the Demonrats, is unthinkable. And to throw power to the Dems by going a third party route is anathema as well.If the Republicans are to lose let it be with their base support intact. It will be the clearest indication of what must be done to come back. And if the Demonrats win it will ensure that we will be back. If the nation survives.
