Family has been ranching in Texas and New Mexico since being kicked out of the Iberian Peninsula circa 1497. I am exactly one inch too tall for the Army, but they let me in anyway, and hold the distinction of being the tallest graduate of Ft. Rucker.

Greatest regret in life (to date, sure there will be more and worse) is not serving in the IDF after leaving the US Army. (You can do that, you know.)

The last defenders of the Führerbunker were the French SS volunteers of the 33rd Waffen Grenadier Division of the SS Charlemagne (1st French) who remained at the bunker until the early morning of May 2 to prevent the Russians from capturing the bunker on May Day. I am not remotely a Hebrew language scholar, but I have been repeatedly asked if there is a Hebrew word for "cousin." Yes, there is.
Indeed, Jews, especially pre-destruction of the Temple, were mildly obsessed with geneology --- for reasons related to Temple practice and the fact that the Messiah came from (if you are a Christian) or will come (if you are Jewish) from the line of David.
Your father's line also determined your tribe, and thus whether certain tributes were owed.
Recall also the rather harsh sorting of who was Jewish and who was not upon the return from captivity and Babylon.
Anyway, with that pre-amble, kinship is serious business, and there are FIVE related Hebrew words for cousin:
Cousins = do-dah-NEEM
son/daughter of an uncle = BEN/BAT DOHD
son/daughter of an aunt = BEN/BAT DOH-dah

In the liberal mind:
1. Dropping a Koran is horrid and people must be punished. Using a Bible as toilet paper is art.
2. There are no WMD in Iraq. Except for the ones Bush let get into the hands of terrorists.
3. White men are inferior. But white men must also be held to a greater standard so others get a chance.
4. Islam's abusive treatment of women does not merit comment. But Christ's statement that wives should "respect" their husbands is a horror. (They ignore that the husband must "love the wive as I loved you" --- i.e., sacrifice to the death.)
5. Killing a convicted killer is bad. Killing an innocent baby is good.
6. Women have absolute dominion over their bodies. Unless they are critically ill, at which time a court can kill them based on hearsay, even if they are devotely Roman Catholic and such a desire would be completley out of character.
7. Hitler was bad. Stalin was OK, even though he killed more. Bush is, of course, worse than both.
8. Developing societies should be left alone. Unless they desire to become Western and modern, which should be discouraged.
9. All large corporations are evil because they are faceless, inhuman, creations. The solution is, of course, faceless, inhuman, government regulation and bureaucracy.
10. Israeli citizens defending themselves by bombing the specific arab terrorists who just lobbed missles at schoolyards is the moral equivalent of arab terrorists who bomb schoolyards.
