I met Reagan at a fundraiser in 1980. (I was 10 yrs. old). I will never forget that moment. my father was running a re-election campaign as a common pleas court judge here in cincinnati. he (my father) told me to run up onto the stage and salute the Gipper for a good photo op. i didn't because, as i told him, the secret service might shoot me. :)
